HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM (GRADES 9–12)

At Sion North Wake Academy (SNWA), high school students follow the educational standards of the State of North Carolina, United States. The program is designed to prepare students for college, university, and future career opportunities.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

To earn a high school diploma, students must complete the following minimum requirements:

High School Graduation Requirements

To be eligible for graduation from Sion North Wake Academy (SNWA), students must successfully complete all required core academic courses in accordance with the school's graduation requirements. These include English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Health & Physical Education.

In addition to the required core curriculum, students must complete five (5) elective courses, including at least one World Language. Students may satisfy the World Language requirement by successfully completing French, Spanish, German, or Korean. The remaining elective credits may be earned through approved courses in Career & Technical Education (CTE), Fine Arts, Technology, Business, Computer Science, or other elective subjects offered by SNWA.

A minimum of 22 high school credits is required for graduation. Students are encouraged to exceed the minimum requirements to strengthen their academic preparation for university admission and future career opportunities.
